Q. I would like to find a place to rent; what are your fees?
A. Nothing! WeFindHousing.com we find never charges you a
fee to search and find your new home. In fact, we often offer incentives
on your behalf!
Q. I found my home through WeFindHousing.com,
and now I want to break my lease.
A. WeFindHousing.com is an advertising company. We
do not manage leases for the people who choose to advertise their
properties with us. If you are having any questions or concerns
about your lease, you will need to speak directly with your landlord,
leasing agency, or property management company.
Q. I have purchased an advertising package, when will I
see my advertisement?
A. WeFindHousing.com will have your property live on
its website up to four business days hours of reviewing and approving
your property. Your yard sign will be personally delivered and placed
by a Property Specialist within 3 business days.
Q. You say my property needs to be reviewed and approved.
Why is that and what do I need to do to be approved?
A. We review your property to be sure it is tenant ready. We approve
your property once it is deemed market ready. That means the outside
has curb appeal, with a maintained exterior and surrounding lawn,
where applicable. The interior of the rental space needs to be clean,
this means clean carpets, fresh paint where needed, and good general
repair.
Q. When will my property be rented? Do you have any timelines?
A. The real estate market operates on many variables. There are
no guarantees that your property will be rented in a specified time.
WeFindHousing.com will provide you with advertising
services and recommendations to assist you with renting your property as
quickly as possible and maximize your listing. There are no guarantees
your property will rent. However we will do our best and work for
maximum exposure.
There are some self-checks you can do to be sure you are maximizing
the potential of finding a tenant.
Landlord Guidelines and Tips :
- Check other comparable properties in your area to be sure you
are asking a price in line with other units like yours.
- Be sure to highlight any features that make your property an
outstanding value.
- Assess your property’s curb appeal and make any necessary
improvements.
- Keep the interior of the home light, bright, and fresh smelling.
- Be sure everything is in good repair.
- Re-fresh dingy paint or dirty walls, fill holes and cracks,
and clean the carpet.
Q. What if my property does not rent?
A. WeFindHousing.com does not guarantee every listing
will be filled. A varying housing market, the price, location, and
condition of the property are all factors renters consider in their
search. Contact us to create additional incentives such as Featured
Property of the Month.
Q. Where should I leave my key for property showings?
A. WeFindHousing.com operates on a lock box system
only. We will only show properties that have a functioning lock
box attached to them. Lock boxes are an industry standard, to provide
safety and convenience to both parties. You should be able to obtain
a lock box at any major home improvement retailer.
Q. Can I rent my property to someone who hasn’t used
your service?
A. We want you to rent your property as quickly as possible! You
are not obligated to go through WeFindHousing.com to
do so. We are a non-exclusive marketing company. Per the Service
Agreement you have signed, you must give us a 10 day notice in writing
to terminating your agreement.
